SiPM digital control board prototype notes

This page contains a list of notes regarding the prototype SiPM digital control board, including recommendations for the final board.

  • Add +3.3V output to backplane
    • The backplane requires a +3.3V source to feed back onto the digital board through the location identifier (ID0-4) lines
    • Currently this is accomplished with a dedicated +3.3V regulator on the backplane
  • Change JTAG header to match Xilinx recommended part
    • Current part has 100mil pitch, vs. 79mil Xilinx recommended pitch
    • Platform Cable USB II datasheet lists compatible connectors
