<center><span style="font-size:150%">[Update: 9/25 There were issues with the updated packages and work is still being done to resolve them.] Today Wednesday September 23 I am doing a general update of the Linux OS on all cluster nodes. While this is going on, various applications and services may temporarily cease to function properly, even though the systems seem to still be running fine. The cluster will be rebooted later on in the day and after that, proper operations should be recovered.</span></center>

For users of the dcache storage service, dcache is still in the midst of an upgrade from 2.6 to 2.10, which should be completed by October 1.] The cluster is up and running!!!</span></center>
